What?

The big fashion retail giant from the Netherlands Zalando comes with a new app!

This app links clothing from Instagram pictures with the #zalandostyle and #shareyourstyle directly to their own website. So you can buy the clothes quickly!

The only thing you have to do is click on the link and than you can buy the clothing.

So you can Instagram and shop at the same time!

This is only possible with clothing that are in stock. If the clothes are no longer in stock, the app will remove the picture from their overview.

This app is made for their costumers, which includes fashionable woman from an age of 18 – 28 and love Instragram / shopping online!

Zalando wanted to give them something new. After a long brainstorm session the result was: costumers now love Instragram, because Instragram combines personality with pictures of high quality. And it also sets fashion in another context. It answers the questions “What wears my idol daily?” and “How do I combine my old with my new clothes?”. At least we found out that our costumers don’t like it when they see something beautiful and can’t buy it directly..

Why?

This app is made for people who are lightly obsessed with fashion and wanting the newest things! Most often are this kind of people extravert and innovative. They use this app because the feel the need to see what others wear, get fashion inspiration and buy things at an easy way. These three aspects are also the biggest reason why this app attracts me and other young adult woman who love fashion. Particularly the easy and quick part appeals. This is in line with the megatrend fast, faster, fastest which is very popular by the youth. These days we want to easily find something in a few seconds, if that isn’t possible were are gone.. I personally think this app has a bright future because it includes the top three thing young fashionable woman love! Maybe they can expand their app with shoes of bags? I also predict that a lot of (online) brands will follow with an app like this..
