Sitting is the new smooking ! Or even whorse…

That’s what a lot off people are saying, we become fatter and fatter.

There was a solution for this problem the standing desk, but now there’s a better solution

The Rodent-Themed Desk ! This is a human hamster wheel with a desk in it. It gives you the opportunity to multitask. You can do your daily exercise while you’re working! Or even better said, you get paid for sporting and staying fit / in shape!

Furthermore is this special desk equipped with everything you could wish for in a desk! And there are more good things, this desk increases the productivity!

The only (bad) thing is, that you have to build your own Rodent-Themed Desk with the given instructions.

A year ago in the VS, this concept was figured out by a collaborative project.

This project was from Pier 9 Artist in Residence Robb Godshaw and Instructables developer Will Doenlen.

Why?

This Rodent-Themed Desk is for people who are sporty and ambitious.

Who love to multitask and don’t want to lose time.

This is also the thing that makes the Rodent-Themed Desk attractive for me and a lot off other people, young trendy and sporty people who work at a office.

We stay healthy, sporty and in shape while we are working!

The mega trends “multitasking” and “fast, faster, the fast” help with making this concept attractive. I see small growing future for this signal, the implementation and idea are great!

But I have my doubts about the functionality, the Rodent-Themed Desk takes a lot of space. But I yet think that this signal has potential, only on a smaller and more specific area. This is the begin of a lot inventions that have something to do with multitasking!
